But for us it was kind of surprising. We lost power at 1:30 this morning and just got it back moments ago.
We live in the country . . . . . no power means no water, no water means no bathroom. No power means no internet, no router, no modem, no recharging the laptop. You get the picture. So I couldn't post about this weekend's show until now.
Setup is tomorrow at the Heart of the Triad Quilt Guild Show. The show will run Friday and Saturday (May 13th and 14th) from 9 - 5 both days. It will be held at The Girl Scout Learning Center at 1203 Frances Daily Court in Colfax, North Carolina. That is off I-40 at exit 208 between Winston Salem and Greensboro. I am glad you guys are okay! This has definitely been the spring for wicked weather. Enjoy your quilt show!
We've had our share of wicked wind. I had hoped to be at the show tomorrow, we'll see; I'm currently nursing a sprained foot and walking (or standing)isn't high on my list of fun things to do. Grrr.
Oh my goodness Cathi, did the tree do much damage to your roof? We managed ok with this last storm, just one tree top fell on my parents fence, but did not do any damage. Hope the show goes well!
