My First Schnibble . . . . .

I'm not on the "official" Schnibbles band wagon with 'The Year of Schnibbles'.  I did buy several of the patterns a few years ago at Inman Quilt Cottage (cute, cute shop if you live in the western Carolinas).

This one is called Betsy and is made with the Wicasset charm squares I got from Cotton Charm Quilts (Kelly).

Isn't it just so cute?!  I think I have been bitten by the Schnibbles bug!

Blessings, Cathi

I have two Schnibble patterns but have not made either up. So tempting but not enough time. So you think you are hooked. Guess we will be seeing more from you soon.

This is on my "to-do list" of Schnibbles...yours turned out awesome! And I love the fabrics you chose. I am working on one using Kansas Troubles and the Scnibbles pattern Plan C.

I have fits everytime I see these Schnibbles on the blogs because I didn't get on this band wagon either! I can't decide which ones are the cutest; they are all darling. Amazingly none of the quilt shops in my area carry these patterns or any Miss Rosie books. I think these shop owners are missing the boat. This little quilt of yours is wonderful.

Love the scnibble piece. Great colors. Yours doesn't look like the typical schnibble. Would be beautiful on an oak table.....

Love it! Nice colors for the summer too. I have not made any yet either but do like the ones I have seen in blog land.

It's wonderful! I've gotten bitten by the bug too but haven't started it yet. But collecting the patterns is almost like eating chocolate, isn't it? You can't stop at owning just one!!

It wasn't too terribly bad being bitten by the Schnibble bug was it? For me...it is a complete addiction once I did the first one. I kept wondering what all the fuss was about. I love being able to grab up any two charm packs and perhaps a small additional bit of fabric and have something scrappy, coordinated and just the right size for gift giving or small decor. Your's is perfect for summer (anytime really) Job well done you!! What one is next? If you scramble quickly do State Fair this week and have it entered by end of June! You don't have to enter every month.
