Don't ask God to make your life easier, ask Him to make you a stronger person.

Aaaawwww ..... Retreating, here I come . . . . .

"I'm old, Gandalf. I know I don't look it, but I'm beginning to feel it in my heart. I feel... thin. Sort of stretched, like... butter scraped over too much bread. I need a holiday. A very long holiday . . . . ."
Bilbo Baggins

That pretty much sums it up. Although I won't be taking a LONG holiday, I am going to take a holiday.  I leave this morning for the mountains of West Virginia to go on a retreat sponsored by the Woolen Willow chicks ..... the owners/sisters that also produce the Primitive Quilts and Projects magazine.

I am taking plenty of UFO's so I will be ready if/when the mood strikes me to do one of them.  I am taking NOTHING business related ........ just me and my sewing machine humming along . . . . . with about 45 other kindred spirits ..... at a lodge ...... in a state park ..... in the mountains.  Sounds heavenly ..... will let you know when I get back!

Woolen Willow has several retreats throughout the year.  Go here for their retreat webpage.

Blessings, Cathi

Oh Cathi,
I was all ready to go to this...I didn't sign up right away because of my back surgery - didn't know how I would be to go...and...I had 2 injections in my back a week ago and now it feels rather good so now I could go.
I went to sign up but it was filled but Sally said I could sign up with her!!! What a sweet lady...BUT...then I couldn't get connections to get me there...BUMMER...oh I could have met you and some of the other cyber friends I know.
HAVE A FANTASTIC TIME!
