This showed up at our house Wednesday morning in parts on a trailer.
By Wednesday afternoon, it looked like something cute and cozy.
We'll be painting it in the Spring to match the house. And landscaping and other cute things. Maybe a barn quilt on the right side in the pic above that is facing the street.
But for now, it's my (repeat: MY) storage building that will hold just my stuff like my booth display and the bins of wool and supplies. We'll see down the road what it will become wink, wink.
But officially, it's a storage building because the building permit stated all over it that it was NOT to be used for commercial activity or living quarters (although in a pinch if Dear Hubby were for some reason sent to the doghouse, maybe he could stay with the dogs and I could sleep out here!) But hey, if a guy can have power tools out in an outbuilding, why can't gals (or guys) have sewing machines (a power tool) out in an outbuilding, too?!
First thing I did? Put a Cracker Barrel rocking chair out on the porch. By the way, if you're wondering why the porch is facing away from the street (note the car), it's because I have it facing the morning sun and the garden. I see a cup of coffee coming on!

How cute!!! I can't wait to see it decorated.
I want one!
I love it! I want one too! That would be the perfect size for a sewing room! :0)
What a neat thing. You could call it a playhouse. Surely you are allowed a playhouse. In our area, no storage sheds are allowed in any shape or form. So, tools have to be kept in the garage. And you can only have the garage door open 6 inches for ventilation unless you are working in the garage.
Love it.....and I agree with Terry, perfect size for a sewing room.
I agree with all the others! Love it...I want one too!!!!
Carolyn :)
How cute! I love the porch and double doors. Enjoy!
Congratulations Cathi - I think it is fabulous - and you deserve this, you certainly have earned it! I can't wait to see it and walk inside.
I love it... and what could be warmer and cozier than a wool storage 'cottage'? One with a CB rocker on the front porch! Enjoy~
I am sure you will make a very special place to hang out. A rocking chair and a morning cup of coffee on a beautiful morning will be a nice way to start the day.
Merry Christmas!
Wow!! You're very own Wool Shed!! How lucky are you!! I would definitely be moving a bed out there...haha
P
Lovely-what a treat to have a wool barn for yourself!
Enjoy,
Shazy
How cool is that - you must have been a really good girl this year.
You deserve and I think that you should "play in it!"
Enjoy!

Merry Christmas indeed. What a wonderful Wool Shed. It looks far too good to be just used as a storage place.
I can just see you looking through seed catalogs - planning your landscape. The rocker is perfect . . . . save a spot for me *s*
Cathi, Cathi....you have what I've been wanting...it's adorable.
I wanted one like this for a shop!
I know you will enjoy it.
Blessings, Merry Christmas,
Karen
Well my goodness... someone was a very good girl this year to receive such a nice gift already!! =]
Love it so much and I know you will have much fun with it. It's gonna be so cute when you get done with it. Enjoy!
