Back in the saddle .....

I usually take my birthday off (it was last week) to have a day with no phone, no Facebook, no "web-surfing" ..... just me and my Bernina humming along .... watching Criminal Minds marathons or PBS Masterpiece. But the weather on that day was PERFECT for dyeing wool. Soooo, since last Friday was cold and raining, I moved my birthday to Friday and spent part of the day hooking instead.

This is a project that has been sitting in limbo for 13 (yes, THIRTEEN) years. It is also my first ever hooking project.  I plan on taking lessons (again) because there is ALWAYS something I can learn.

It's supposed to be cold and raining again this Friday.  A coincidence  ....... hmmmm.

Blessings, Cathi

Hi Cathi
Well you aren't the only one I see that starts something and puts it aside for years.
I have a huge hooked piece I've been toying with for 3 years now - not sure if it will ever be finished.
I too would love lessons but there is no one around here that does it.
I like the star!
A very belated happy birthday - I must be missing out on having a birthday week lol Mine only seem to last a day.
Blessings
Karen

That rug will be beautiful when finished. I agree==hooking teachers are hard to find here in NW also. Especially using the wider cuts.
