"Embrace Each Day" by Cheri Payne |
And not just quilting but actually putting the binding on!
"Good Cheer" by Cheri Payne |
And not just the binding but designing and sewing and quilting and binding.
This quilt is the second version of a quilt I designed way back here. I had some feed back (otherwise known as constructive criticism). This is the next rendition. The pattern directions are almost finished but I still feel it needs something - like a button in the flower pot. Will keep you posted.
Now that I look at them, they probably all could use a few more details or quilting but I'm just tickled pink that I have finished all this in less than a week.
Speaking of pink, I am in the middle of a baby quilt for a little girl. She is about 4 months old and the daughter of one of the Married One's best buds from high school. Yes, another volunteer project from her. But this one is really sweet and very traditional. No pics today but soon.

Just popped in - your quilts are wonderful. I love folk art quilts and Cheri is one of my favorites. Great job.

Simply adorable!
I love your pattern you designed. You've had a busy week it seems.
Fantastic quilts! It does feel great to be accomplishing so much doesn't it?
Look at you go! Love them all *s*
Goodness! you have been very busy! Love the all and your design is very pretty. I like the newer version. I just love those pomegranates.
OMG!! Your quilts are wonderful. I so wished I knew how to do that. I love quilts. I am taking my Mom back to her childhood home a week from Wed. She grew up in the small North Carolina mountain town,Andrews. My grandmother made so many quilts during her life. I am hoping and praying that I can talk my uncle into giving me one of her quilts when I am home. I have one of my grandmother's quilts that my Mom gave me but I want one from her stash. I also informed Mom that we would be going junking as I like to call it while we were home and maybe even do a little treasure hunting in and around the old homeplace.
Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
Hugs,
Lynn
