The nut doesn't fall far from the tree . . . . .

My great-grandmother quilted, my grandmother made clothes, my mother was great at home-dec sewing, I quilt, and now the next generation is strutting her stuff.

Look what The Married One made for me for my birthday last week!

A beautiful Amy Butler bag from a Ralph Lauren tweed with suede handles.  And like her mother, she changed the pattern some because that's what we do.  She added the button closure and changed the pockets inside to hold this . . . .

My new little netbook that I bought for myself for said birthday.  It's a tiny little thing that  only does internet surfing, checking email and blogging, of course.  Now I can go to my shows as a vendor and keep connected to my bloggy friends.

I'm glad it was one of my good attributes that she picked up on!!

Blessings, Cathi
