New Year's Resolution ...... blog more often with some type of consistency.
Still working on that one ..... In my defense, I had some great sales at my last show and on the internet. I had some catching up to do with wool-dyeing!
The next show is this weekend in Statesville, North Carolina ..... just above Charlotte. I have some new items for this show that I didn't even have two weeks ago in Sanford.
First, I now have my charm packs in creams .....
And the new Primitive Quilts and Projects magazine is out and will be with me.
There are some great projects in this issue including at least SIX with wool! Cheryl Wall's quilt is on the cover!! Way to go, Cheryl!
This year at the Statesville show, Sew Original (a quilt/sewing/Bernina store located in Winston-Salem and Boone, NC) will be giving away not one but TWO Bernette 46 sewing machines. One at 2:00 on Friday and one at 2:00 on Saturday. You must be present to win.
There will be over 35 vendors there with a little of everything from knitting yarn, handmade buttons, Jim Shore figurines, to quilt shops, to long-arm dealers, to featherweights to WOOL! Jim Shore's wife, Jan, will be there with the most wonderful selection of rickrack, vintage fabrics, ribbons, beads and baubles. Susan Edmonson has a slew of altered art objects and YLI Threads will be there with their selection of threads for almost every purpose.
Show runs this Friday and Saturday from 9am until 5pm at the Statesville Civic Center in downtown Statesville. Entrance fee is $5.00. There is a $1.00 off coupon on the www.quiltersgallery.net website.
Hope you can make it!
