A little change in plans .....

Because little ones' schedules are always changing, so does this MaMa's schedule. Our hours are the same but the days have changed. Shakerwood Woolens is open Mondays and Wednesdays thru Saturdays from 9 until 5 EST (or closed Tuesdays and Sundays). Of course, the website is always open. Gotta dash ..... I hear my name ...... again!

Sometimes moving in to a show takes a real feat of engineering .....

We are in Statesville, North Carolina this weekend at the Quilting and Needle Art Extravaganza. Located at the Statesville Civic Center - 300 South Center Street.

Friday and Saturday, January 26 and 27

9:00 am to 5:00 pm both days

Bunches of vendors, sewing machine giveaways both days, door prizes, perfect weather ......!

New year ...... new promise .....

I have vowed to myself (that way I don't disappoint anyone but me!) to blog more again.  I miss blogging .... I miss reading blogs.

This isn't the best post to start the new year off with but it is what it is.

We said goodbye to our big ole teddy bear this past week. He came to us with his son, Nelson, at a time when I needed something desperately ..... and I'm sure he needed us, too. He was truly a gentle giant that never wanted more than a good head rub and to be fed on time. Rest pain-free now, Reagan. We'll miss you terribly .....
