It seems like ......

...... the only time I have to post lately ..... heck, this whole year ...... is when I am on my way to a show.  That's where I am again, on the road.  This time to Chantilly, VA for the Quilters Unlimited 42nd annual show.  This what I am doing while enjoying the fact that Dear Hubby is driving this year instead of me.

Putting together all the charm packs, Penny Stacks, Big Scrap Stacks that I had cut in the last few days but didn't have time to assemble.

The show runs tomorrow (Friday, May 29th) from 10 - 6, Saturday from 10 - 5 and Sunday from 10 - 4 at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, VA.  We're in Booth 107 so come by and visit!

Roanoke, Virginia .....

I don't know how we managed it but somehow we fit a double (10' x 20') booth into a single (10' x 10') space.

But we did it!  We are at the Star Quilters Quilt Show at the Berglund Center in Roanoke, Virginia today and tomorrow.  The show is from 9 - 6 today (Friday, May 1st and 9 - 5 tomorrow (Saturday, May 2nd).  Hope to see you!

Heart of the Triad Quilt Show .....

I am in Greensboro this weekend for the Heart of the Triad quilt show. The rain almost got the better of me as I was loading the trailer but I made it through. 

After all was said and done, the booth is ready for customers!

The show is located at the C3 Church at 300 Hwy 68 South in Greensboro, NC right across from the Piedmont Airport.  Show is from 9 - 6 today (Friday) and 9 - 5 tomorrow.  Some beautiful, beautiful quilts.

Missing my Employee of the Month .......

Sweet Pea usually stays with me two days a week and helps out in the Wool Barn.

This week she isn't because tomorrow morning, I am headed to Savannah, GA for the Quiltfest Destination Savannah show.  It will run from Thursday through Sunday (10 - 6 on Thurs, Fri., Sat. and 11 - 4 on Sunday) at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center.  I'll be in booth #308 ....... come see me!!

A little bit of PERMANENT .....

Shakerwood Woolens is happy to announce that we have a little "shop" inside the Shoppes at River's Edge antique mall in Rock Hill!!

We have so many that ask us if they can come to the house to shop.  This is our solution!

The Shoppes at River's Edge is located on the north side of Rock Hill, SC at exit 82 (82C if you are heading south and 82A if you are heading north) off of I-77.

Besides my wool, they have over 30 booths chock full of antiques, junkin' finds, Annie Sloan Chalk Paints, yard flags, jewelry and other fun things.  We have furnished 3 rooms in our house with furniture from the Shoppes at River's Edge and lots of other cool finds.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby and the Stitch and Frame (the best cross-stitch shop in the Carolinas) is just a mile down the road!

I will be continually adding to my "shop" weekly.  Besides the wool, there are discontinues booth samples and other little goodies along the way.
