New Yummy Greens . . . . .

I have added 4 new greens to my website that I think are just yummy.

Besides being available on the website, they will be at the Carolina One Stop Shop Hop tomorrow from 9am - 4pm.  I spent 4 hours this afternoon setting up my booth along with the other vendors.  It is held in the Bradley Building on the USC-Lancaster campus in Lancaster, South Carolina.

There is a rumor that it may snow but it's not supposed to start until well after lunch and even then it's only a 30% chance.  So those of you that may have doubts, DON'T.  We'll be waiting for you!!

Heading to Landrum . . . . .

First I have to show you what Joyce did with my quilt . . . . .

Doesn't it look great!?  I should get it back this weekend. Then on with the binding and ready to hang in my booth at my shows this Spring.  I still have kits available for this one on my website on the Kits page if you are interested.

Tomorrow morning early, early, I am headed to be a guest speaker for the Landrum Quilters in Campobello, South Carolina.  They meet in the Gowensville Community Center which is a former schoolhouse with a little turret and school bell on top.  There meeting starts at 9:30 am and is 2 hours away from my house.  Quite a little haul hence the need to get up early.  These ladies are a great group and I can't wait to see them all tomorrow!

Congratulate me! . . . . .

I have finally finished the hand work on "Little Tulip Crossing" by Primitive Gatherings!

I can't remember when I started this one exactly but I think it was in August.

It wasn't like I could work on it every night.  I started selling the kit in September so it was packed and unpacked, hung up and taken down about a dozen times since then.

But last week when I realized I was near the end, I forged ahead.

The finished size is about 40" x 40" ..... cotton background with hand-dyed wools (hand-dyed by moi),  All the applique is hand stitched.

Now off to make arrangements with Joyce for her to machine quilt it.  I don't trust myself with this one but I sure do trust her!
